This is by far the most emotional song of the mixtape. Julian reflects on the lives of
two teenangers who were in two different parts of the world. One of them was found
in a river by Julian’s house, and the other was a girl who was sent to America from El
Salvador. Julian focuses on the brutality and struggles of sex trafficking, and murder.
The first verse is reminiscent upon the life of the sex slave, and how her father basically
sold her for a little bit of money. The second verse is about a seventeen year old boy by
the name of James Teto Grant. He was a refugee from Ghana who came with his father
in anticipation of a better life. After living in Brooklyn Park and finding some people to
hang out with. James so called friends took him to a park for gang initiation purposes,
and his body was found in the river later on. The final verse of the songs is directed
towards everyone who is ok with the fact that poverty, violence, drug abuse, and rape is
constantly happening. Nobody ever should be subjected to such a hostile life.
